Hard Lines Coffee - Brazil - Sitio Lagoa

We’re big fans of Hard Lines in Cardiff, and wanted to bring a little piece of that action to Stockport. Our trusty Gaggia espresso machine now uses their espresso beans, and you can take home some too.

"This delicious coffee comes from Sitio Lagoa, a small and thriving farm owned and operated by husband and wife duo Heleno and Helana Bachião Dolivo. Sitio Lagoa is located in the hills of Nova Resende at an altitude of 1150 meters above sea level. The coffee grown at this high altitude matures more slowly, resulting in a refined and complex flavour.

During the harvest season, the entire family comes together to pick the cherries. The coffee cherries are then spread out on large patios to sun dry, contributing to the distinctive sweetness in the coffee. When the patios are full, the family rents a mobile dry mill to complete the drying process and make space for more coffee. Each family member contributes their expertise in different production areas, resulting in a truly dedicated effort that can be tasted in every cup of this coffee."
