We’re big fans of Hard Lines in Cardiff, and wanted to bring a little piece of that action to Stockport. We use their House Party espresso beans in our Gaggia espresso machine, and you can take home some too.
"It is always a special time for us when we see coffee from Kilimbi back in the roastery, but even more so this year after our first visit to Rwanda in May 2023. We’ve been buying increasing amounts from this washing station for the last 4 years, over which time the quality has improved markedly and they are now some of the tastiest, most consistent coffees we feature.
The washing station sits at an altitude of 1600+ metres above sea level on the shores of Lake Kivu, a place that could easily be mistaken for paradise. The cooler temperatures and constant gentle breeze make this the perfect place to process and dry coffee, evidenced by how great these coffees taste so long after harvest. This year we have the largest range of processes from Kilimbi ever, so get stuck in and let us know what you think!"
