26/10 - Jess Elliott Dennison Cooks With Sam Buckley (WTLGI) - Weekend Recipes - Demo, Chat And Signing

A big one for the autumn. We're thrilled to announce that we're bringing Jess Elliott Dennison from Edinburgh to you, Stockport, to chat and cook with Sam Buckley about recipes, form and loads more.

If this wasn't good enough, during the chat she'll be preparing samples from her new cookbook, Weekend Recipes, for you all to share. She'll also be signing copies of the book for you all. We're huge fans of both Midweek Recipes and Weekend Recipes at Rare Mags. Jess self published the books with the assistance of her family and the quality of the layout, printing and writing is very evident.

Jess Elliott Dennison is a food writer and the founder of Elliott’s. Her work celebrates simple cooking and life in the kitchen. Jess’s experience has covered all aspects of food, including as a food stylist in Sydney and London. For 5 years, Jess ran Elliott’s Cafe which was listed on Conde Nast’s Best Edinburgh Restaurant List. She recently hosted multiple food writers and chefs in her space as part of the Edinburgh Festival.

Sam Buckley is the founder of Where The Light Gets In. A Michelin Green-star restaurant located just behind our shop in Stockport, serving a selection of quality, contemporary British dishes. He's also a very nice guy. But i'm sure you already knew that.

As a special treat, this event will be held at Where The Light Gets In on Sunday lunchtime. As always, your ticket includes a drink on arrival. Tickets are expected to sell fast for this so don't hesitate. We can't wait.
