Hear poet, novelist, runner and lecturer Helen Mort discuss Ethel Haythornthwaite with Sam Waller, photographer, BMX rider and one time dry stone waller.

Ethel Haythornthwaite was a pioneer, activist, environmentalist and poet. Her tireless campaigning led to the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and the creation of the Peak District National Park.
