There are a number of reasons why the period between May and June is special for all of us. The days are long, very long. Which means more hours in the saddle and less stress. It's hot, but not that excessively hot, it's nice, a bit at all hours, even when the sun stings on your forearms. And then there's the Giro d'Italia, the event that more than any other unites the country. It's the beginning of summer, which smells of promises, of something beautiful that will come and that we've been waiting for a long time. And we cyclists are all a bit of dreamers, so we like all this exaggeratedly. This is what #alvento 39 is about
