"Rambling is a new zine aimed at curating a space of ecological escapism from the often oppressive tightness of metropolitan living. RAMBLING #1: Field Recording’s places the field as its stimulus, the open, changeable and fluid dynamic of which developing in possibility specific to the individual. Whether it’s reading a book, walking in high grasses or closing your eyes and listening to a playlist, RAMBLING works to transport the individual into spaces foreign from the city.
#1 was kept close to home, with midlands ramblers Kat O’Sullivan and Will Robinson offered up their skills - Kat’s beautiful graphic designs feature throughout and Will finishes the publication with a wonderfully eclectic mix fit for the fields. Fresh faces Coco Cunningham, Harry Clayton-Lucey and Will Rogers-Coltman contribute a poem, book review and personal story. Whilst in distant lands folkloric artist Lucian Barbu paints the landscape of the publication with his wonderful artwork."
