Hard Lines Coffee - Mbili Twiga - Tanzania

We’re big fans of Hard Lines in Cardiff, and wanted to bring a little piece of that action to Stockport. Our trusty Gaggia espresso machine uses their espresso beans, and you can take home some too in 250g bags, choose whole bean or ground up just right for filter.

In Tanzania, most coffee is produced by smallholder farmers, with around 90% grown on farms smaller than one hectare. Producers typically work through Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) and Rural Cooperative Societies (RCS), while Cooperative Unions and larger estates manage exports.

This coffee is a blend, named Mbili Twiga to reflect that coming together, Mbili Twiga translates as “two giraffes.”
