Made In USA catalog 2026 - Amekaji issue.
In 1976, while covering the inaugural issue of POPEYE magazine, I visited the American West Coast. There, I encountered a rational and unpretentious fashion style. This style came to be known as "Amekaji" in Japan, and eventually spread to Shibuya Kaji and Ura-Harajuku culture. Elements such as military, workwear, sportswear, and outdoor wear have repeatedly transformed, continuing to influence Japanese fashion. To commemorate the 50th anniversary, we are featuring the enduring appeal of "Amekaji," a style we all love.
